Version change log: $Id: moosounds.txt,v 1.2 1999/12/05 23:24:53 jlawson Exp $
============================================================================

The GUI win32 client had a setting where the client would "MOO" after each
block completion.

============================================================================
                    By popular demand, the MOO is back!
============================================================================

This small application resides in the Windows Systray and monitors when a
client's buff-out file changes. Each time a block is completed the
application will play one of five random "MOO" sounds. These are the same
sounds that the GUI win32 client would play, and will work with buff-out
files for CSC, OGR, DES and RC5.

If you run this application on a win32 machine that is running a dist.net
client, it should automatically find the directory where the client
resides, and its buffer files. Otherwise, put this application right in
the same directory as the client and its buffer files.

If you are using remote buffers, or sharing buffers that reside on a different
machine, this application will not be able to find and monitor those buffers.
Depending on the feedback of this application, maybe that will be added in the
next build.

Please send all feedback and suggestions to help@distributed.net
